Big Muff is tough!
-
@PAULisDEADMANnumber9 It's probably pushing the amp into overdrive, making it sound a little tighter and not crazy.

I love my Big Muff, but when i turn the volume up on the pedal or the amp, the fuzz seems to kinda go away as it gets louder, like its less dense of something. Can anybody help?

@M16Tman I have a muff and a '70. Both are great pedals, but at the end of the day, the fulltone has not only better versatility, but way better tone. I have played the RI fuzz face, and it's nothing special. The swollen pickle isn't worth the cost and the space it takes up on a pedalboard. So, I'd go with a fulltone '70. best straighforward fuzz I have played.

@reflectwhatyouare689 just sounds like a connection problem somewhere. Open it up to see if anything is loose or disconnected

i've got a problem with my big muff, sometimes when i turn it on the distortion fades out completely, and theres no volume, so i have to tap it a little bit for the sound to come back, sometimes it's frustating, can you help with that?? do you know what that can be??

@rodrigoNIN90 billy didn't use this big muff, he used an op-amp big muff made between 1977 and 1978. google 'kitrae op amp muff' for more details.
