@scipio2009 With respect to what you wrote...if u analyse musicality and then watch this choreo again ull overstand why it sped up in the mid section. I dont personally know these ladies, but i like the piece its nice for what it is. The mid section of the routine drops the focus off the words and makes it an undertone and focused on the beat, while to a minimum still hitting the odd word...musicality!!! Its a lovely piece :)))

Coming from someone who's never taken a legit dancing class, i think the main problem was that, in that second chunk that really didn't work, the choreographer, for whatever reason, thought that making the steps faster was equated to making the steps "bigger", which "Pretty Wings" easily did in that chunk of the music.

Instead of just making the steps faster, I think it would've actually fit the music if the steps were just given more accent and effect.

Not to be the one hater on this vid, but he choreography, in my opinion, didn't do the song justice at all. Not saying that the entire thing was weak; just that it didn't fit the song.

Routine started off real strong, with the first ~26 seconds fitting the song. And then, for whatever reason, the next 20 seconds of the routine jumps into an uptempo vibe, completely counter to the song. Then the 50 second mark comes around, and the routine finally gets back to the actual song, closing out strong

the thing i love about Asaki is that she kills every routine and she is so smooth doing it too!!
