This is Rob Griffin, another of my Roadrunner Park favorites. I asked hime if he would mind if I recorded his best song, but being the unassuming guy that he is he couldn't think of any. But his fellow harmonizers were quick to pick this song as their favorite. And they were right. It's a great one! This is the jam at Roadrunner Park in Phoenix Az.

  • WELL DONE GUYS!!!!! 5 stars!!

  • no studio, no effect, that a pure sound at my ears ,. Thanks a lot guys

  • It seems that Greg Brown wrote this wonderful song fairly recently and I did not recall it from my childhood. Nevertheless, Brown did such a masterful job of capturing the depression era, it could have easily been written during those years.

  • I don't think I have heard this song since my childhood some fifty years ago. These talented "good old boys" brought tears to my eyes. My brother and I stayed in a bed and breakfast in Meridian, Mississippi, home of the Jimmy Rogers museum, but didn't have time to stop in---it's on my "bucket list" of things to do. Jimmy and his music are the heart and spirit of America!

  • Very wonderful, thanks...........pity I just learned to play a tenor banjo and I used to live 4 blks from RR Park.

  • awesome thank you for that,
