@SGarv04 The coaster cars are those colors, with the front cars looking like cheetah heads. The track represents the land/grass on which cheetahs run, hence the yellow and green.

I agree, this ride was very disappointing!!!!! I was not impressed with this way too long and slow ride! Scorpion is way more thrilling than this ride was. But Montu will always be my favorite!

If I was a cheetah, the fastest animal in the world... I'd want to live out my days in a confined space next to a roller-coaster.

@George84ish u could just shut up the coaster is ALL MOST has fast has a real cheetah.think twice before u speak

@George84ish You're so ignorant! Did you really expect Cheetah Hunt to run right through that figure-eight? No, that section really gives you a beautiful view of the entire park and it's one of the most picture-worthy roller coaster sections in the world. I've been on CH several times and I adore the coaster because it is so unique. If you were expected another Sheikra, Montu, or Kumba, then you were way off.

Oh man the storm at the end....Beautiful. That just made the ride look 20 times more exciting LOL! But then again you're not supposed to mess with storms in Florida. I heard through the grapevine they're not very forgiving ;)

3:10 THUNDERSTORM
Think of cheetah and what's the first thing that springs to mind, SPEED. So why is it that a coaster with the word cheetah in its title is totally lacking of any speed. By far the slowest coaster in the park and that includes scorpion. Rode it yesterday and was very disapponted.

@George84ish Sheikra does hit a top speed higher than Cheetah Hunt (70mph vs 60mph). Cheetah Hunt ties with Montu and Kumba. But Scorpion maxes out at 50mph, 10mph slower than Cheetah Hunt.

@InsideTheMagic Cheetah hunt may, just, hit 60mph at the end of the launch sections but they are emmidiately follwed by a section that slows the trains right back down, at one point I thought we wouldnt make it round the figure 8 section it was that slow. I reckon if you looked at the average speeds across their lengths of all the coasters in the park cheetah hunt would be the slowest.

@George84ish But therein lies the cheetah inspiration. Cheetahs, as I've been told, only hit top speed for short distances. They can't maintain high speeds, but they can unleash them quickly when attacking their prey. And that's just what Cheetah Hunt does. The launches propel riders quickly for a brief amount of time, followed by the slower speeds. Whether or not that creates an exciting ride for you depends on your preferences. For me, I think it's a great balance.

Wait.. where did they put the Cydale horses?? Seriously I need an answer please!

@twilightbreyer11 The Clydesdale horses left the park after Inbev purchased Anheuser-Busch. They no longer appear at SeaWorld either.
