I heard the irish defence forces are recuiting foreign nationals. I finding that absolutely disgusting, i have know many honest and decent irish lads who wanted to do service for there country but failed at interview stage and now there giving these jobs to foreigners some who have commited fraud in other countries. Its leaves a very bad taste in mouth, i bet some of the forefathers of this state would turn there graves.

It saddens me to see this.Protectionism is a consequence of fear. That fear does not sit easily with the strenght and fortitude of our forebears to break the yoke of imperialism in our country. The real fight is with the inbred political fraternity who believe they have their entitlement to office and swollen salaries regardless of honesty or talent. Brian Lenihan tried to be articulate on a Today FM Lisbon Treaty debate but ended up at the end trying to sell that tired worn out Yugo-Trabant EU jalopy from Brussels bureaucrats that nobody wants in his role of a doomsday used car salesman. EU migrant workers who return to their country of origin after 12 months working here can claim back ALL the Income tax they have paid in their home country.

Once they have done this, they can then come back and do the same again!

ad infinitum!

So while all the indigenous workers taxes are extracted into government/EU coffers, any migrant worker TAKES ALL THEIR TAX BACK TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY!
