I had a trip out to the River Wharfe to fly fish for it's Trout and Grayling. The river levels were great which meant that the fish were there to be caught.

I started off fishing a beadhead nymph but quickly changed to a dry fly setup after finding one or two Grayling taking of the surface.

  • @yorkshireangler would you say that length and line weight was perfect for fishing the wharfe ? :-)

  • I always walked upstream when dry fly fishing so I did not spook the fish
