  • あのモントルーと同じ頃、ビル・エヴァンス、指使いが鮮明、限りなき美タッド・ダメロンの遺産曲”If You Could See Me Now"~寄り添うゴメス #jazzm

  • @blackandtanful ”If You Could See Me Now" is one of masterpieces too.

  • Well yeah, the life someone lives certainly is reflected in their music but what I am trying to say is that I think he would have also been a fantastic player without drugs.Other musicians were...

  • i don't wish Evans' drug addict affect his health, and let him die soon.i guess we just felt pity to think about it.

  • This is a great clip, beautiful music, thanks for posting it. Let's not destroy these beautiful moments with a discussion on Evans drug problems.

  • Hope he was not taking heroin when play.

  • @warwolfii you lucky bastard l.o.l..ive listened to bill for nearly 60yrs i would have loved to have met him.i did get close once when i was playing in london ah well.you are a good judge if all the things you are is your fav.one of mine too.bill had everything and some.one of THE great musicians of our time.many thanks.

  • @rxj9000 ya thats what good music is reduced to while other people earn money with mass productions. Brave New World. However there are alot of people that still value "elevator music" and that is a good thing.

Btw. its christmas soon, you ll hear that music in shopping malls day in day out :-)

  • @rxj9000 I must be hanging out in the wrong elevators then. Bill Evans was arguably the greatest jazz artist. One can argue that certainly.... so let's say he was one of the greats.

  • もし、今君に会えたなら。って聞こえる。

    なんて心の響くメロディーなんだろう。

    会えるなら、俺も今君に会いたいよ。

  • Bill was, and still is, my favorite musician. Occasionally I would catch him alone at the Village Vanguard and we'd chat for a few minutes. He was very shy, very introverted. He had very little confidence and was not aware just how extraordinary he really was. He'd always play my favorite piece "All the Things You Are." He was an amazing talent, a true artist, gifted beyond measure.

  • @CShell07 damn he played some amazing stuff when he was high! it's a shame so many musicians use drugs to get inspiration because it is always their undoing.

  • Sounds like elevator music to me
