  • The last note of the intro riff is a low C before the D harmonic. Other than some phrasing, you have most of it right.

  • @f5mando

Right observation!!! there is this little mistake... thanks for your correction!!!

  • what kind of mandolin are you playing

  • @TheKeitharoon

Hi. In this video I was playing a Kentucky KM-1000.

  • @MondoMando83 Finger placement. How long have you been playing? Do finger exercises to help get the right finger placement. Don't strain as this is what kept causing mine to go out of tune. I would and still do finger exercises now I can play hard and fast with bends and I only have to tune my mandolin once a week and I play it for more than six hrs a day!!

  • @tsawkeedatalle I play the mandolin for about five years. I do every day finger busters exercises from Mike Marshall's exercise book. It's very hard. I love the Dawg Music and I play every day do fingers exercises to be able to play this amazing music. You should play softly and slowly at first and then you increase day by day energy and speed.

  • So nice to hear the runs slowed down and visible on the fretboard. Kind of like, dare I say it, the long runs of Bach.

Thanks very much for the good video.

I do find the other tune in the background distracting.
