Theres going to be a bailout whether we like it or not. First thing that needs to be done is get these guys should be fired new management with fresh ideas need to come in.
Its sad that these jerks are never held accountable.
Congress sits in judgment of these companies, be it Auto indurty officials, or Wall Street Execs from AIG, and complain that these companies are poorly run, and that they need oversight.
Yet, the Treasury Department has no mechanism in place to track how institutions are using $150 billion in taxpayer money that the government injected into the banking system.
Maybe we should fix our government before we fix private corporations. What do you think?
These Ivy League Auto Execs had screwed themselves and are asking the world, not just the US, to remove their head from their ass. As for why the banks had received different treatment, imagine not being able to get your money out of the bank. That's what happened, the banking execs screwed themselves with our money. So we had to throw more after the money we had lost in their hands. There will always be someone to hire employees of automakers and make better products.
all the car companies can be bought with 10 billion. why in the hell would you give money to a sinking ship. they didnt say they would change anything they do when it comes to scamming us with crap cars. gm is building a 300 million dollar factory in russia. wake the fuk up!
They should have been asking the mexican government for the bailout! Since NAFTA, how many american jobs went south?
