Oh my gosh WOW. 4 months Thats a while. :| Well, I stopped posting because I had loooooots of stuff going on in my life. I got in a car crash, my dog passed away, my family friends came over, I got some new horses, taking care of foals A lot. So.. Forgive me? Joes POV (Continuing)

Oh, crap. I heard Demi mutter under her breath. She ditched her backpack and ran up the street. She dodged leaves and branches flying around from the storm and still kept running. Once she realized she was going to have to cross the street to get to her destination, she turned and looked at something behind my car, and freezed in her tracks. What..? I though and turned around to see what she freezed at, stopping my car to look.
Stupid mistake.
Once Demi saw that I had stopped the car and turned around, she tore her eyes from the illusion she was looking at and bolted across the street. By the time I turned around, I couldnt see her. The only thing I had to help me find her was the trail of crimson red blood that led to the next street. I smacked my hand on my forehead then gunned the car, speeding around the corner. I found Demi a few blocks ahead, and she looked like she was about to pass out from exhaustion. How the heck did she learn how to run that fast? I turned off the cars headlights, using only my eyes to see where I was going. I had a black car, so it blended in with the moonless black night. I slowly pulled up behind her.. In a flash, I turned on my headlights, and swerved the car right in front of her so she couldnt go forward. But, she could go backwards. She decided to make that descison. She turned around and ran, and I gave up on my stupid car. I threw the door open and chased Demi down the street. She started slowing at the turn in the sidewalk, which was an advantage for me, since I wasnt the one running through town trying to run away from her arranged fiancee. I tackled her into the lawn next to the sidewalk, both of us breathing heavily. She struggled weakly.Dont tell anyone, Joe She wheezed, then passed out from exhaustion, and her feeble attempts to get away faded, and I just sat there all the while in the rain, getting soaked, holding her. Right then and there, I realized that Demi needed help. And that I was the one to help her.
