FIFA 12 Tackling Tutorial

Hey guys, Nasty here with another tutorial for ya (Read Below)

I was talking with a friend and the discussion was between doing a 'B' button tutorial, or making a video about passing on manual. The former was decided on because it more likely will be less changed from the demo to the real game, and I wanted to make something more applicable to the audence in the future.

you didn't pressed B at 1:56...

it just goes by it self when you switch to a player how's facing your opponent...

To everyone who is saying that the tackling system is bad, go to settings and change the defending to legacy defending for the original tackling system

you can also hold B to push youre players with pressure the cpu to steal quickly the ball

Since buying the game, the more I've learnt and tried to master, the worse I have got. I get tired of playing against the computer as it is unrealistically hard to get/ keep/ intercept the ball.

I hate the new tackling, I played virtual pro online for ages, now it's heavily weighted in favour of the attackers, teams can easily keep the ball for ages without anyone making a sucessful takle, the old system of holding down the X button to close in and make a standing tackle worked fine, the opponent had to do something special to beat you such as a skill move or right hand stick first touch, now they just walk on by.it's unrealistic since you can't get the presision with the control pad.

@lnzpyr I'm finding this too. The longer ive played this game the worse i've become at it. What I'm finding is that if you hold A all they do is run to the side of the pitch & if you're lucky, they get a throw-in. EA have made this tackling system far to complex. The game itself needs to be nerfed. Semi pro is quite easy, professional seems to be impossible. If you so much as get it in their half they shit their pants &clear it, when they get into your area, they will most likely score.

Ok, here's my dilemma:

1) I don't wanna let go of A otherwise I'll run straight past them.

2) When I do hold A the player never approaches the attacker, allowing him to run as far as he wants.

3) I find it really awkward trying to switch from player to player using RB whilst holding LT.

I really need help because I never seem to have possession, so what I'm doing atm which may help some people, is hold A to follow the attacker then when you're close enough, let go of A and run in then press B.
