No comments on what he actually said just empty accusations that can't be backed up with any actual facts. How lazy are people who really would rather delay the work necessary to become independent from oil. Republicans who are funded by BIG OIL.
@TheVisionary84 We are not "running out of time" unless you are so engrossed in the political fear tactics that you die of a heart attack in which case renewable energy won't help you will it? Obviously, if something is being researched you won't see the results immediately. Also, the point of my initial comment is THAT THE GOVERNMENT MAKES MORE OFF OF OIL THAN THE OIL COMPANIES. So, where is the beloved government when it comes to REAL IMPROVEMENTS? They just blame private business.
Even Obamas own party is starting to turn against him now..lets all count the days until he resigns. There are now some confirmed reports that Obama has revealed to close friends that he is in over his head and did not think that this job was not really meant for him in the first place. Come on Obama..throw in the towel for all of our sakes and hurry up and resign. Also Biden has been in closed door sessions with some top Cabinet members an unusual occurence in the White House
@TheVisionary84 2nd, Mr oblama and his crack team indicated that if his stimulus package were passed, Unemployment would not go over 8% Below are the real statistics:Oblama's First Year averaged 9.28% UE. His High was10.1% and His Low was 7.7% during his first month in office. For the first three months of 2010, mr oblama is averaging 9.7% UE. His High was 9.7% and his Low was 9.7% .
It appears that this inexperienced Fence Post Turtle doesn't know what the hell he is doing, Does it?
@TheVisionary84 "It's not that the things oblama promises are bad..." Ah, Yes They Are! !st, Mr oblama said when his stimulus package passed, it would "not only creates jobs, but spur economic growth & competitiveness." The package will focus on providing assistance to low/middle-income Americans, strengthening our infrastructure, & investing in states that are struggling with falling revenue. His goal was to create 3 million jobs over 2 years. Has it happpened? NOPE!
@TheVisionary84 Bottom Line: Neither oblama, nor pileosiiii, or reid, thought through this health care Fiasco. After having the opportunity to read mr oblama's socialist, health care law, only 36% of Americans want it, while 58% want it repealed. This is what happens when unqualified people are put in positions of authority,,,,, They don't know how to do their job and when they screw-up they do a really good job of that!
@TheVisionary84 Medicaid is a failure, because it is managed so poorly. Walk through the medical field from the time a patient walks into an MDs office, until care(s) are completed. What a government bureaucratic nightmare this program is. However, if you find yourself in the position where you need care, then medicaid can help, for a period of time. And, as you know, it does not cover everything, including surgeries.
@20roots Sadly, I think people miss the fact that even if Obama was Jesus himself, the presidential position doesn't hold the power we think it dose... The system is designed for major corporate lobbyist's to control everything. They have every senator paid off to represent their interests. So even if Obama wanted to pass a bill that helped millions, like universal health care it would never get passed cuz insurance lobbyists aren't about to loose out on the business of ripping of sick people.
@Unklebillybob I agree that Obama's healthcare bill is laughable. But not because I believe all this moronic, elitist propaganda that claims universal healthcare is going to somehow turn us into a communist country and whatever fear mongering McCarthyism Republicans try and shove down our throats. I say it's laughable because the bill doesn't enforce any rules that say insurance companies can't deny sick people insurance. Essentially the bill changes nothing. Save the sentimental rhetoric...
