  • HAHAH, I am 38 and a dude and had prostate cancer in which it had to be removed, I was surprised to learn I had to wear Depends and "man pads" and had to for like 4 months after the surgery. In the meantime my GF had the baby and she did the same deal as you, depends and pads. So all together, I was in diapers, my wife was in diapers and the new guy in his diapers too all the same time haha. Life is quite funny sometimes! Thanks, Eric.

  • @Eric26ers lol thanks eric for sharing =)

  • @aly0ns My sister is having her first and I suggested depends like in your video and she said, "ummm no" ha-ha. She's single so my gf and I are helping her out with everything...Thanks for your video and suggestions, it helped!

  • @Eric26ers lol hey, it's better than destroying your clothes, in my opinion.

  • I know this video is old, and you have your baby by now, but the stuff you packed seems a little rediculous. Pads, socks, stool softeners, and dermaplast are all things the hospital will provide for you, why waste the money on something you/your insurance is paying for at the hospital?

  • @AZOrchid these are all things that were suggested to me by my lamaze coach who was a nurse at the hospital i gave birth.

  • @AZOrchid the hospital gave me enough just for a week so whether you buy it before or after you have the baby thats up to you. you're welcome to use the pads the hospital gave you which i did for alittle bit but i found that i kept leaking becasue there was so much blood. the hospital did not give me stool softeners or dermoplast. i ended up using those for almost 2 months after the baby. it depends on you and how you feel after you have your baby.

  • i used them the whole time i bled, including in the hospital. i used the hosptial underwear right after birth but i used thedepends the whole time.

  • Did the depends really end up being helpful? I have heard of wearing some disposable mesh undies of some sort but i hadn't heard anyone mention depends. is it useful or overkill?

  • omg i completely forgot about the softeners.. im writing that on my list. im having my second baby and i was watching videos to remind myself what i needed lol

  • i got it at CVS. but be careful! i heard the red one has alchol and it burns. blue is the way to go!

  • where did you find the dermoplast at? i am looking for it everywhere and i can not find it

  • dermoplast is a GOD SEND!!! A lot of the stuff the hospital will give you too, they gave me all the pads the underwear, spray cleaning tools diapers and all the baby cleaning and changing stuff..we also got tuns of bottles and samples, you you will be suprised how much you come home with that you didnt pack! good luck!

  • Looks like your set!!! Time flys//
