There's quicker ways to create a wigwam. Just sayin'

unlike a teepee that has only uprights a wigwam has

horizontals that provide a place to tie bark strips

or what ever you want to "shingle" the wigwam with.

bind "shingles" at bottom first then repeat up higher.

the top requiers an off center opening for a smoke hole.

in an emergancy you can "shingle" it with anything ,

even tarps or plasic , this is a usefull skill to learn

go some where SAFE to practice wigwam building

collect many saplings or supple sticks

mark a 10 foot or smaller circle on the ground

tie a few saplings together to match that ring

tie saplings to this ring in arches to form the walls/ceiling

make the first pair cross center, the next set form off center,

from the top it looks like an H&X superimposed on each other

get a "dome tent" and look at how its made.

think about one with 3 times as many poles and

bark strips instead of a nylon skin
