Starting last month, Local 6 has been phasing some parts of a new package.
What I think: it's based on the promos they have ran and the ending animation on the recent promos saying that Local 6 is "Always Here for You".
What I know: Post-Newsweek is joining in the station standardization crowd. This standardized package, I'm pretty sure, is Giant Octopus-based. WDIV, WPLG and WJXT - far as I know - have been basing and phasing certain elements in. I know DIV has the L3s and full screens up with a light blue background (red for breaking news). JXT is using some variation for the HD launch with blue and orange. PLG has a background graphic for their JustNews.com banner and some franchise stingers in blue and orange. We have - of course - the blue and orange scheme. The open is based on DIV's ID/open, only we're ClickOrlando.com. Elements phased in are full screens - select ones - the split screen graphics and the ots shots (example neat the end of this video). However, they've yet to replace the L3s, the weather graphics, the franchise stingers and teases. Hopefully before the end of the month...
Update - as of March 2nd, the L3s, WX graphics, franchise stingers, and teaser graphics have been updated with the new set, and new talent opens have been put in place. Some remnants of the blue scheme still need updating.

Could you have included anymore commercials before the newscast actually started?
