Sounds as if he was miming - the vocal faded but the studio audience clapping stayed at the same volume. No matter, great song.

It occurred to me the other day: Barry Ryan was born at Leeds Yorkshire on the 24th of October 1948, and the Australian entertainer Stevie Wright was born at Leeds Yorkshire on the 20th of December 1948. I wonder if they've ever met?
