Al is given until midnight of Valentine's Day to get Marcie to see that he's the soul of Al in Michael McBain's body and kiss him or he'll never get the chance to live with her on earth again. He brings Simply Red, her favorite band, to Capricorn to perform live.

"Sunrise" by Simply Red.
"You Make Me Feel Brand New" by Simply Red.

Marcie Walsh - Kathy Brier

  • I remember how much i loved this storyline... that Al loved Marcie so much that he gave up heaven to be with her *sigh* I loved them so.....

  • i love the music in this episode! marcie and michael were my favorite couple on the show!

  • if you have any clips after this like when she realizes Michael is Al,can you post them? Would be very much appreciated : )

  • The real reason for this storyline is that Nathaniel Marston (Al Holden) had been fired, and there was such an uproar that he was rehired. Problem was that Al had already died and it was a dramatic exit, so they couldn't really say that he was still alive; hence this storyline. I started watching OLTL only because Matthew Ashford (Stephen Haver) was cast, but kept watching long after he left because of Michael and Marcie.

  • Al died and he persuaded Luna to give him another chance, so after this jerk named Michael died, Luna put Al's spirit in Michael's body. Al (in Michael's body) had until Valentine's Day to convince Marcie that he was really Al, so that she would fall in love with him and he could stay in Michael's body instead of going to Heaven. Problem was that Marcie and Michael hated each other and she didn't want anything to do with him. Hope that helps.

  • This is one of my all-time favorite OLTL scenes. The first time I heard this song, I fell in love with it!

  • wait what?

what's the story behind michael and marcie

  • thank you so much! i have been wanting to see these scenes again. I loved Al/Michael and Marcie! =)

  • thank you
