Not to mention they won the cup and then didn't even make the playoffs next year with the same roster in the SE division. Or the next year for that matter. You can't take away the fact that they won but they sure got lucky. Picking up NJ in the second round was probably helpful too since NJ had 0 offense that year. Either way, it'll be a long time before they win again with Staal as the only decent player on their roster and an overrated goalie.

yea when the teams they played players was injured its kinda strange how buffalo was injured and then the goalie for edmonton goalie got injured.........that something to think about buffalo is way better than the hurricanes u see we took them to game 7 with injured players

Selby. You're joking right? I've been to Carolina twice for Sabres games. Your fans are a joke, talk about uneducated! I couldnt carry a decent hockey-related conversation without them asking me questions about the game.
Buffalo is the one of the biggest hockey markets in the NHL, yet its considered a "small market" city.
Everyone was a bandwagoner at one point. When a team does good, they capture your attention and you pay more attention.. right? Your tailgating is a joke by the way.
