Having MAINTAINED the planes, I can say I'd rather be DRINKING from a can made from one of these Pigs than working on a C-141. I still can't wait ot see the C-5's in my Fridge. Fingers crossed.

This is very hard to watch.

I always fid it Ironic that air frames like the 141 are often replaced by another airframe that is almost a direct copy, yet has quieter and lower emission engines why not repower the older airframe with the newer engines..... it would be far less costly and fr less wase of energy nd rescources

NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!

To see this hurts. no reason they had to scrap these birds when others soo much older are still there.

This is NO way for the beautiful ole 141 to die........without even a whimper.

This is hard to watch having worked on this aircraft.

I was a Flt. Eng. at CAFB 41st MAS and all of us , even the ground crews loved this lady. I flew the A&B models and I can tell you that after 14 yrs in SAC (,B-58 &KC 135 crew chief),flying for MAC was a dream come true. I miss it every day.
Having flown this airplan over 5,000 hours - this makes me wanna cry.

So sad for us who love the C-141, but interesting nonetheless.
