I wanted to go into a study on Luke 21: 36 to see if Jesus was really refering to a pre-trib rapture. As a Post Trib Believer, I did not think that it was about a pre-trib rapture but about God taking care of us during the Tribulation Period.

I used an Interlinear Greek Strongs Concordance:

  • Well done

  • @bubba007sss ...Thank you

    God bless

  • I'm so lost on the rapture. In the beginning I was pre-trib now I'm post trib now after reading Luke 21 I am confused again.

The only thing one can do is believe on Christ Jesus and continue to pray and repent

  • @TheUnshamedMovement I understand how you feel. While I was post trib for 35 years, there came some questions that don't have Biblical answers that allows for a post trib rapture. If you are interested, I will be more then glad to share why I moved from post to pre trib.

It does take a lot of studying, but the most important thing to remember is, no matter when Jesus calls out His Bride, we should be ready for anything.

    God bless,

    Linda

  • @companymanPs6811 Let me share with you that my heart is always open, and while I may think this, I am also asking the Lord to let me see the truth and not be swayed by my own opinions.

    Take care Dennis,

    Linda

  • @carpentersdaughter2 Thanks for the blessing and I pray the same for you. I hope you understand that I am pre-trib but I believe that teaching is confined to Paul's teaching based on further (church teachings) he received from Christ. So I think teachings from the Gospels about the Second Coming do not include the Rapture revelation. GB, Dennis

  • @companymanPs6811 We agree on this that Pauls writing are a continuance of Jesus's teachings. I just disagree with you as to the timing of the rapture, and because I was once a post trib rapture believer, I can see now the huge holes it has, and that's about it. I can't go back to a teaching that has so many problems to it.

    God bless you,

    Linda

  • @carpentersdaughter2 Please consider;Paul's "writings" are as much the Word of God as if Christ had spoken them. They are a continuance of Christ's teaching ministry on the earth. As a study of Ephesians will show, Paul is Christ's appointed "church expert". 1 +2 Thess. draw the clearest distinction between the 2nd Coming and the Rapture. In Luke and Matt. Christ was responding to a question re Israel's restoration and His return ... the 2nd Coming. Full church teaching came later via Paul.

  • @companymanPs6811 I was happy when I read the first line of your comment, but then you go go to use Paul's writings to prove me wrong and you right....Tell me, how does this make any sense in light of your first sentence?
