Atheists believe that all we know comes only from what we individually observe. They are the apostles Thomas. But what they fail to realize is God is alive and communes with us first by Prophets but now that Christ has come, long awaited, we can commune with God daily in this age of the Church. If telepathy were to exist, would you hear a friend's voice in your head? Or would his voice be as your own thoughts? All thoughts come from God, or a Satan and the Demons. Atheists, I pray you'll discov

"from what we individually observe." Peer-review is superior to "individual observation". You are setting up straw men.

"All thoughts come from God, or a Satan and the Demons." Scary. How do you distinguish between the four types, i.e. your own thoughts, "God's", "Satan's" and the "Demons" and why exactly did your "God" give "Satan" and the "Demons" the ability to telepathically communicate with people? "I pray" You do that, and we'll think for you.

The only problem is that the Christian is showing just what the atheist was talking about. He's compromising the Bible with evolution by saying that God started off the evolutionary process when in fact that is a total contradiction with the book of genesis.

"that is a total contradiction with the book of genesis." That's only if you take Genesis literally, which most Christians in the world don't.

actually no in fact if one study early history most religious leaders did not follow creation myths literally. from what I know of Judaism you don't read the Torah as if its literal fact, but as it is just a metaphor. In fact the Sadducee tribe of Jews didn't even believe in miracles or supernatural things believing more that God was the natural world itself. In fact if one were to actually study what God is from the Bible its would lean more Pantheistic,

They should watch John Lennox. Mister Philipse is coming up with the common questions about religion in general and christianity in particular. Christians should not pretend they have the answer to all these questions, but the truth is atheism can't answer all the questions either, so it takes faith for them too.

I'm a very stubborn atheist, but I certainly allow for bigger possibilities. The only caveat is I do need the evidence of these bigger things. Show me a solid piece of evidence and I'm there. In science (I'm one) there's no arguing with evidence. My stance on the extra-natural is maybe it would be nice but I assume nothing.

That happens to me too. I don't know what this language is but I have relatives who speak German (they're Turkish) and when they forget I'm American and start speaking to me in German I get very twisted up because I think I'm following what they are saying but I'm really not. It takes me a few seconds to realize they're not speaking English and by then they've caught the error.
