Councilman wanted out for his (lack of) religious beliefs

Cecil Bothwell was just sworn in as a new city councilman in Asheville, North Carolina and already, several people want him to be removed from his job. Bothwell is an atheist, and still on North Carolina's books is a provision that bars atheists from holding office. The provision, also on the books in six other states, is giving some reason to fight his position. Bothwell spoke to RT about the reaction from both sides.

@jimbobubbadj Psychos can be found in nearly all denominations. Not to mention plenty of famous psychos were committed atheists. Should I start naming them? Not to mention nation socialism and christianity can't co-exist. Be Hitler a Christian or not (I think that he though he was, but he really wasn't), his methods were not Christian, he didn't convert anybody as far as I know. If Christianity was based off of Christ's actions, then Hitler is most def not a Christian.. but it sadly isn't
