Lady GaGa was already known for the gays even still in the underground music, that's why so many thought the new image of Xtina was a copy of the newcomer who appeared to be something unique and new in the pop scene. Just compare the dates: The Fame was released on August 19 (but Lady GaGa has assumed the big blonde wig with bangs a few months performing in gay clubs) and VMA 2008 happened on September 7. Just saying.
