Jonathan Cross (Chris Kein) é um dos homens mais adorados pelos americanos. Não é por menos. Jonathan é o mais popular jogador do mais rápido e radical esporte de todos os tempos: o Rollerball. Com seus companheiros de equipe Marcus Ridley (LL Cool J) e Aurora (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos), ele leva uma vida marcada pela fama, fortuna e carros espetaculares. Sua carreira profissional visa a proporcionar aos milhões de telespectadores o que eles mais procuram: um jogo perigoso, cheio de emoção, velocidade para superar limites e ação eletrizante o suficiente para levar a torcida ao delírio. Mas as coisas mudam de figura quando o inventor do esporte, Petrovich (Jean Reno), percebe que a brutalidade e contusões graves entre jogadores ajudam a aumentar os níveis de audiência dessas competições na televisão. E os jogadores se vêem envolvidos na conspiração de um novo jogo desprovido de qualquer tipo de regras, em que o perigo e a ganância andam lado a lado, como se fossem parte de um mesmo time.

3 fucking players!!? Wasn't the original all about an idol outstanding in the croud? That moved all the conflict stable society vs individuality! (sorry for my poor english, it made the 75 move sound like shit, I love it though)

@tfman31 Go for it! it's totally awesome! This 2002 reshoot is all about action and braindead entertainment, the 1975 one is an amazing sci-fi themed movie with a great plot about human condition!
