陳氏太極拳新架二路亦稱炮捶。 新架二路拳,動作比較複雜。套路中以"采挒肘靠"四隅手的運用為主, "掤履擠按"四正手的運用為輔,剛中寓柔,力求堅剛,震腳發力,閃戰騰挪,竄蹦跳躍,鬆活彈抖,著重於彈性勁的練習。外形上顯示疾剛跳躍為主,緩柔沉穩為輔的特點。運勁方­法要求以手領身,配合靈活的步 法,以剛為主,剛柔相濟,以內勁為統馭,內不動,外不發,一動全動 ,節節貫穿,完整一氣。 學習新架二路拳,應在練好新架一路拳的基礎上進行。
學習新架二路拳,應在練好新架一路的基礎上,突破去僵求柔的階段,達到周身相隨,全身一動無有不動,內外結合,放鬆沈穩,勁力完整,呼吸與動作協調一致,此時學練二路拳方­能免出偏差。否則沒有鬆彈勁,練拳時就會僵硬,上重下浮,橫氣填胸,心跳過速,呼吸發喘,嘴發青,臉發白,對健身和練功均為不利,學者務必注意。
老架的純和,新架的活躍。其問者?如無學過老架,而就從新架練習可否?此為因人而異,有的領域強無忌,雖然正常是以一般為定,亦要從老架的動作為基礎,在進入新架領域即能­¬順利應手。一上新架的動作,域此之時的靈魂,就會隨自然入境,達至已純熟境界,才會有此意境,即知區分,分別老架與新架趨勢。
老架是初階架,新架是進階架,所以還是要先認識老架的基本,印心入身,以詳情單純老架的圈道,在進新架的圈道即更精準,才不會誤差,其說圈道的部份之一,如呼吸與意氣也是­¬變化複雜,如無掌握好亦會大喘,上氣接不到下氣。如同在老架二路為是,何況是新架二路的複雜,學者亦要一步一步的上。
