I'm 52 and as a young child I can remember my dad playing this song in our living room It brings back so many memories. It comes to show you good music never dies.

I love this man and this song. When i hear it it rminds me of the worlds most wonderful woman, my mother. i remember as a child in the 1960s hearing this song on the radio and she and i in the kitchen dancing to the vibes being laid down by this incredible song. the tropical and african rythms heared in this track with the mellow cods put down by Amed are nothing short of heavenly. this is another peice of music i could not get but thanks to technology i can now... many thanks.

To Our Pops (RIP): Happy 70th Birthday ! "Ahmad Jamal At The Pershing" was his Top 5 Favorite Jazz Album. Bought it on vinyl (good condition) for $15 in '05 for his Fathers Day present, he'd been looking it for years, he said, "You lucky bastard, where in the hell you find it ?".(LMAO) Thanks, Pops, without you, I wouldn't know shit about jazz.......now for another shot of Crown & Coke (LOL) !

Thanks for a much-needed dose of "mellow." If you listen to this song and don't feel better afterwards, you have no soul.
