You can get a fretless effect by doing the sliding with a tremelo, that's how Dallas plays it even though he doesn't have a fretless guitar.

dude, when he says "eat of the dead" you have those notes and one or two of them sound false, really. I know this song like my birth day. It hearts my ear when I hear those notes. You should listen to it again :P the rest of it is ok

nope its a gibson SG custom shop and the neck is fairly thick and i have an ebony fretboard. had it for quite a while and ive flown with it form Hong Kong where its really Humid to the the US several times and nothing has happened. perfectly straight

o go from a# tuning all the way up to E standard so thats lower than nile all the way to standard tuning with no effects other than breaking strings occasionally
