That will just be playback. I doubt very much that there will be an orchestra in the studio. Maybe she is so used to playing the cue...she forgot. lol. BUT she is very good.

Amanda is AMAZING!!! But Jemma is as well!! I have been watching all the youtube clips on Amanda as I never got to see her in the show and she has come up pretty close to Jemma. But I saw Jemma in the show and she is my favourite and Idina's voice just doesnt suit the role of Elphaba (that's my personal opinion no offence to anyone who are Idina supporters) Oh well I LOVE WICKED!!!

Is it just me, or did the conductor cue that final sequence before Amanda? Isnt Elphaba meant to cue that sequence?

Both Jemma and Amanda are amazing, but personally, I prefer Jemma :)
