Shellshock 2 Blood Trails Review Part 1

(and YES I DO own the xbox 360 version, so I don't see myself as illegally downloading it because I only downloaded it for this review, then I deleted it (it was like, 7 GB!) and I own the game, so...yeah. :D

Also to everyone wondering what the hell is up with that framerate, this is the PC VERSION, which was...well, I had to download it to record some footage without video taping my tv. So better quality at the expense of choppy footage. Also, my computer wasn't the BEST. On the xbox the framerate stayed at a good 60 fps and looked more smooth and better.

Well, they are ENTIRELY different games, and if you have a Xbox 360 hooked up to Xbox Live, you can try out the L4D 2 Demo which will kind of show you the difference. Shellshock 2 is a Single Player game all the way (unfortunately, since I would have loved coop..) and compared to L4D, SS2 had better story and audio, while L4D had more lovable characters, great coop and multiplayer, and both games had very well done levels. If you don't have Xbox Live and don't want to...(crap runnin outta room.)

...invite your friend over EVERY time you play Left 4 Dead, then try out Shellshock2, because L4D isn't very fun by your self. Trust me. So if you want a great multiplayer game, go for L4D, but if you want a simple, cheap singleplayer game, try out Shellshock 2. Both are now pretty cheap Used, and are very enjoyable. Oh and one last note, Shellshock 2 isn't a game you would play over and over. Maybe a couple more play throughs, but L4D has more replayability. Enjoy whatever one you choose!

The reason this game is terrible is because of the stupid button mashing scenes... I have to look at the controller to find out what buttons i'm hitting. it's not something I can memorize and react quickly to, so therefore I always hit the wrong buttons and I cannot even get past the first 2 minutes of this shit game!

@MadSkeetElite For once, someone on here likes this game besides me. I totally agree with you. I'm a history buff and I'm very into the Vietnam War and since this game wasn't so mainstream, I was able to enjoy it. It had its own style. And I feel the exact same way about the graphics. A lot of it was very realistic looking while in some missions, it looked a little cheap. Shellshock has a combination of artistic and mediocre graphics.
