On the one hand, I'm not completely anti-technology--- I DO like the modern conveniences that scientific discovery and human achievement can bring-- but on the other I am also for running the great cities and nations of our wonderful planet carefully, with an eye of respect and love towards nature.

Remember, folk heroes like John Henry and Paul Bunyan definitely did their share of tree-cutting, wilderness taming, railroad building Progress- but they can be friends with the Johnny Appleseeds 2

I was having dinner with my 3 children and I started humming this song and my youngest asked me what it was. I said I remember curling up in a blanket when I was 4 or 5 and listening to this album on my record player. so Thanks to Wildcat139 I see it is on youtube. I am now 43 and it brought a tear to my eye to watch it I only ever listened to the album. I agree life was so simple and we said our prayers before bed and life was just a little better than today
