I got bucked off!!!!

Who knew I owned a rodeo bronc?!?

Yes... I did end up falling. Too bad my mom accidentally hit the shutter button and my camera stopped recording! As you can see, I lost my right stirrup right before the video stops and right after that Midnight decided to take a left. I went splat! I landed on the lower right part of my back and I actually thought I broke it when I fell because of the way I landed :/ But I'm ok. I think.

I'm not making excuses... just telling you the situation...
It was hot. There was like 500x more traffic than there normally is (the fair is this weekend). She was being a butt the whole time and not listening. She wanted to be done =bucking. I know that I should have done a one reign stop instead of yanking on the reigns but I didn't really have time to remember that...

btw... I got right back on!

don't you just hate how a horses temprement can change in half a second! One second he looked like the most placid horse the next he was bucking! Good job!

Actually, you don't wanna bring the reins up, because that makes the horse rear. When your horse takes off on you or begins bucking, you wanna keep your hands very low and swing their head around and spin them in a VERY tight circle. It's never failed me.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I'm usually pretty good at remembering the whole one reign stop thing (one of the horses I ride at work takes off with me all the time :/ lol) but I panicked I guess lol. I'd never had a horse buck before that lol. Gotta learn sometime I guess! haha thanks though!
