The underlying message of this poetry is very deep. A man doesnt obey the religion or the path he says he believes in. so whenever he gets astray he doesnt remain what he claims to be and then he becomes something else which he says he is not.

well only in this poem but read bullahs other poems he only prays Allah. Most of the sufis were all muslims they all gave same religion and massege of quran surah kafroon. and for example we know kalander lal shahbaz was muslim but hindus were his deciple as well. if you go to many old mosques in sufi areas you will see mosque and mandir togather divided only by white lines. so that was massege of islam and sufis got it. if read buleh shahs story you will find they were all good muslims.

What Bulla Shah is saying is that he follows not Islam, Hindu, Christian, Jew ro anyone else, and yet he has found the Creator within himself, all without partaking in namaaz, reading the vedas, or the Tohra. Therein lies the truth--the Creator lives in all the se great faiths, bt then again, in none or them as well!
