    Great concept, but as a Jewish person living in Verplanck, you really should have done more than research it on the internet, or just make it a fictional place. This is SO off the mark from reality that it isn't even funny. This could be so much funnier if it had some basis in reality, such as the movie Drowning Mona.

    If you had done this, you would know that Verplanck is not a city or town, it's a hamlet in the Town of Cortlandt. And so much more...

    Although TV sitcoms are not kosher, may benefit you to view episodes of New Girl, Modern Family or Cheers reruns to get an idea of great comic timing, organicity & irony. The more self-disciplined among you could view & demonstrate ideas to your cast. Just trying to help you be a success...the idea of what you are trying to achieve would be great, new...original...but it needs to work better if you want to interest Bal Tshuva population or younger modern orthodox Jews. Wishing you good Mazal!
