joe satriani played great here..but his style doesnt suit the deep purple..he is too bluesy..its like putting hendrix with deep purple...another great example is neal schon when he played with santana,neal sounded a little heavy for the santana sound..

I like him better than Steve Morse. Very nice, smooth sound and finding a good mixture between Richies original and his own style.
