they need to move more WITH the ball at ALL times. DO NOT stay on a single position behind the net.
If the ball is behind you, move a bit towards the back covering the angle of possible attack. Íf the ball is in front, move in on the net towards the position of the ball to cover possible passing shots and to pose a threat.

yep... she can't volley though...seriously... she can't... it's weird she's been playing for a really long time, yet she can't volley...

the girl should have continue to hit cross court because the ball is short. That is the main reason she lost the point. Her partner was able to save it but to no avail on the next shot.

i have to agree with nhpatel hitting behind them is sometimes useful but as players progress you will pay for it.

Serve doesn't matter as long as it doesn't give them the obvious advantage.. a rinky dink will let them both move in, but as long as it is to where they can't rip a winner off the return, it's good.. unless you're sampras/Roddick.

You guys are good tennis players, although the rallies tend to go on a bit long in that you are not finding that killer ball.
