It's cool seeing these guys cover an American South classic. Although the yeehaw was quite comical to hear coming from them.

For anyone wanting to know the origin of the song...
To the best of my knowledge the song originated as an irish ballad that was brought to the Appalachian mountains in the late 1800's. It was first performed by Richard Burnett, then it was popularized by the Stanley Brothers (Dr. Ralph Stanley and Carter Stanley) in the early 1950's. :)

@n7zsd he did, but its one of thoose songs that no one know who wrote, but it first came on a Richard Burnett cd.

Actually, Bob Dylan did it way back in 1964. Not sure who the "Original" artist is though....

Great song, great performance - looked like they were really enjoying themselves performing this.
Anyone got a copy with better sound quality? This is incredible stuff. I hope they come to Canada! :D

@Petercobourg This song is on their first live album which is available on itunes. It's called Hallelujah Live. They no longer perform together, having all gone back to their solo careers after their 2nd tour in 2009.
