Sugar (Female: Albino cockatiel) loves to snuggle with Banana-San( Female Nanday Conure).
The cockatiel next to Sugar is her baby boy, Chico(male: WF Pied) watching mommy getting nice feather treatment.
Other cockatiels never let Nanday Conure preen feathers like that. Nanday helps cleaning feather for sugar and sunny (Female: Sun Conure)

  • How big is the cage?

I have a 20x20x25 cage, And I'd like to get a Nanday, but I don't know if its gonna be big enough. D:

  • Of course bigger cage is better. 20x 20x 25 is minimus size for conure to live, but your bird can't do anything fun in your cage. If you have space and money, get bigger size. your bird will be so happy. I e-mailed you about cage info.

  • Haha Bannana-San is such an awesome name! I wanted to call mine Inko-chan, but settled for Spunky ;D

Our Rainbow Lorikeet did the exact same for our male whiteface cockatiel!

  • Thank u!

    Inko-chan!!! lol

    I own a cockatiel named " maru-chan" too.

    Others are not Japanese names.

Do you speank Japanese or r u? :)

  • ok i have a cockatiel and a conure, they dont seem to get along yet.

  • Only Banana san ( Nanday) is very sweet to tiels. Sunny the sun conure is so mean to them...

  • That's cute

  • swweeeet

  • @emikino i have the same exact conure as yours! you can't find a lot like mine and yours!

  • the back cockatiel is like

"are you done? are you done yet? my Turn? my Turn? my Turn?"

  • I know and understand it is called preening but you never know what they are saying in bird talk. I know a nanday that bit a cockatiels foot off. So please be very cautious introducing any birds together.

  • For the people viewing this whom don't know extensive information about conures or small parrots. It is not advised to go get to seperate species much less two birds that don't know each other and let them be together. Please introduce birds carefully and cautiously.

  • @MBPKyle IT'S CALLED PREENING. BIRDS DO THIS TO EACH OTHER IN PLACES WHERE IT'S DIFFICULT TO REACH. :)

  • lol chico looked liked he wanted to join in

    scratching his mom's head ;p

  • AAAAAHHHH!

    omggggg birds are so awesomeee

  • awww! how cute! Konnichiwa banana-san! i love your white teil and her son. there all so cute!
