U don't need any mushrooms 2 do yoshi circuit short cut: you can power slide and use red sparks to get over if you are in yoshi, toad or dry bones cars. If you are really skilful (like me! lol) u can do it by tapin R at the right moment and do it wivout powerslidin (agen if u r in dry bones, yoshi or toads cars).

in dk pass, the hill will give u 3 mushrooms or a star no matter wut :D

omg your dk pass cheat worked! i maade sure i was in high, didnt get a item then i got shells. well not stars though but i was on high but this cheat till made me freaking win!!

@hamburgerslayer you have to win all cups at the 150cc mirror class

on the last one (in yoshi circut) you don't need a mushroom if you use dry bones standard kart... then you can just hop over. (its a little challenging though)

note: you could do it with any character, as long as you use that kart
