Origami bird base rose

This is an attempt to copy the rose that goldenboi82a made, in his too fast video. I think I figured it out, so now I'm making a tutorial for them who couldn't figure it out with that speed-video of his.

Yeah, my rose isn't as elegant as his, but it's only the second rose I make, give me a break.

I downloaded the song from micromusic, the file says: Potunnostolaulu2 by OSamuliA

ps. trust me, the rose gets better with some practice.

!!! @_@ omg i was going so well till u started twisting it or wtv u did! thene i got mad at it -_- and squished it. plz how did u do the end all where after u put it in ur hand near the end

What I did in the end was just a mess anyway. But you should twist it a little though, cause it looks better like that. And there are also some flaps that looks better if you just bend them backwards so you don't see them, but that's up to you. I hope this helped. :)

Your rose looks great, however the paper is so dark that I get really lost at about 2:48 or so, and I only want able to figure out what you'd done by going back and rewatching two or three times a couple times before that. Could you do this with lighter paper, or do you know another video where someone does?

the paper you chose is too dark to see what you are exactly doing.. like at 2:46 and on..

it is very good but it was very dark paper so I couldnt see what you was doing very well
