The race was on the Navesink river in Red Bank, NJ. The guy at 8:52 was on another boat. I misjudged the closing rate and hit him with the boom. We placed pretty deep in the pack that day as a lot of boats got buy while we did a penalty turn (only one required in that series).
I hope you do get a Scot. They're great boats with a great community.

We just received our sailing cert and are looking into geting a scot. Your camera is incredible. Felt like we were there with you. Where did this race take place? What did you place? Who is the guy at 8:52 who suddenly appears in your camera? From another boat?
