DETROIT (Tell Us Det) - On the day that Western Michigan WR Jordan White was named to his second All-America team, he joined Head Coach Bill Cubit, Purdue Head Coach Danny Hope, and Purdue CB Ricardo Lee at the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl's Coaches Luncheon in Detroit on Thursday afternoon.

The Coaches Luncheon, co-sponsored by the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association, is the annual introduction of bowl participants to the Detroit media.

Little Caesars Bowl officials, Little Caesar Enterprise executives, and university officials from both participation schools were in attendance.

The annual Little Caesars Pizza Bowl Coaches Media Luncheon, co-sponsored by the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association, will be held on (today) Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Tiger Club.

Western Michigan Head Coach Bill Cubit, Purdue Head Coach Danny Hope, a key player from each team, sponsors, and Little Caesars Pizza Bowl officials were be in attendance.

Western Michigan All-America Wide Receiver Jordan White was named to American Football Coaches Association All America team (2nd Bronco in history), and he is the nation's leading receiver.


Purdue Cornerback Ricardo Allen is a 2011 All Big Ten 2nd team selection by the coaches, a team leader in interceptions, fourth in tackles and tied for school record of three interception returns for TDs (Rod Woodson, Mike Rose)

They were join by Bowl CEO & Executive Director Ken Hoffman and Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. President David Scrivano as well.

The Little Caesars Pizza Bowl will be held on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at 4:30pm at downtown Detroit's Ford Field. 2011 marks the bowl's tenth year at Ford Field, after five years at the Pontiac Silverdome. The bowl will again be televised nationally on ESPN.

Little Caesars Pizza® is in its third year as title sponsor for the bowl. Little Caesars events and national promotions will provide enhancements to the bowl experience for the players and the fans.

This special meeting, a part of the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Associations' December schedule, has become the initial introduction of the bowl participants to the media.
