I was born here in a little town called Šilheřovice.

The house is in the Czeh Republic and the outhouse in Poland, thus you needed your passport every time you needed to "knock a brick out"

Ironically, I was born in Silverovice (18 km north of Ostrava on the border with Poland) which was also the home of the Rothschilds. Their castle is still there and used as a hotelliers school.

Old man Rothschild earned a great deal of respect as he made sure that he knew every one of his 3000+ employees and their families, and made sure they had no worries even in the hardest of times.

What other employer would do that now? Of course Hitler fucked that up.

This was back in '94. I remember most Czechs I knew said "they called it the Communist Party, but it really was The Mafia". We have the same "them" and the same "us" and nothing is getting done.

What I can say that those who deride "socialism" don't even know the meaning of the word.

As for "Communism", what was practiced here was communist in name only and was just another way of the elite to control the plebiscite.

Now we have a different "them" but the same "us".

All political systems are prisons, only the bars are different.

Mostly elderly people, from what I heard. I am glad to see The Czech Republic still independent. And that asshole Sladek (aka Mr. Bean) has gone back into obscurity. Was he ever a nutter!
