In 2001 my school could afford a Coolpix digital camera and so I wanted to try out a Bullet Time® shot myself back then. Because I didn't have 40 cameras but one my model, Fabian, had to remain in his very position until every photo was taken. With Elastic Reality I manually morphed the pictures together (with about 60 shapes for each photo) and composed the final morph into 3dsmax where I roughly modelled an ugly rooftop environment. End of story ;)

  • Lol, the producers of the matrix spent at least 10 thousand pounds on the 100 hd cameras they had to buy to make this scene but you did it for about 80 pounds with 1 camera and 1 bluescreen. Great job!!!

  • @Cretan1000 well, it was cheap ;) but it's not possible with my approach to actually freeze time and have a moving camera though... yet thanks for your comment which really made me smile :)

  • did you do this using PICTURES??

    Or just shot a video??

  • @jakeparker11 i morphed them together. manually... ah, the good old days of 2001... :) see the rest of the comments for deatils, if you wanna know how :) cheers!
