what is nice here is that you learn something and the teacher is friendly , open, and actually sounds good himself.

I've been experimenting with double-lip in my practice and I've had enough success with it that I am beginning to use it in some performance passages (although I haven't gained enough control to use it for everything). This video series is a nice companion to those efforts. Thanks!

I played double lip before I knew what it was. But gradually switched to teether somehow unconciously.

Hello Tom,
And many thanks for your "Clarinet Fingerings" book that I have used for 20 years for my students and myself. All serious clarinetists should have this. And no, I don't know Tom!
Double lip playing will help all students, whether they use it full time or not. By warming up with double lip, you'll avoid the biting and the tight, closed throat that often occurs with single lip only playing.
Harold Wright, a teacher of mine, perhaps epitomized the ultimate beauty of double-lip playing.

I saw a forum post on this and thought it might help me out. Thanks for the instructional, couldn't quite figure it out with people's text.
