A documentary on Forest Hill Pools in London. Directed by James E. Melloy and presented by Steve Grindlay. Produced by the Friends of Forest Hill Pools.
Forest Hill is becoming a really nice place to live. Like everywhere in London it has to deal with the problems that go with council estates, but it has improved a lot. The East London line will do a lot to bring more people to the area.
Great video. I was a lifeguard here in the 70s and 80s. Very many happy memories of working with the gorgeous Gina. I held the record of 3 somesaults diving off the balcony!!
@MattA96 becoming? Live here for thirty years, has always been nice, the beautiful hills are not new nor are the tree lined houses and quietness.
