Night of the Dancer

NIGHT OF THE DANCER (2009)
A film by Boris Achour.
A tap dancer wearing a luminous mask wanders, alone and by night, throughout the works of the exhibition La force de l'art 02, at the Grand Palais , Paris, 2009. His dance illuminates the works of the other artists and the scenography itself. The childlike fantasies of being locked overnight in a supermarket (transposed here in an exhibition) meets the atmosphere of Louis Feuillade's Fantomas, the Hollywood musicals of the 50s, and a Lynchian atmosphere.
