TCC Success Story: Sarah Mesterton-Gibbons

Sarah Mesterton-Gibbons graduated with honors from TCC in Spring 2011, the same time she graduated high school as a home-schooled student. Her parents decided to home-school their two daughters from the very beginning, and Sarah's self-discipline and dedication to her education paid off big time. Though attending college was a big adjustment, Sarah signed up for advanced classes with other students who were sometimes several years older, and was not only accepted into the honors program, but also served as an officer of the Honors Club. Now, at the age of 18, Sarah is planning on attending FSU in the fall as a communications major.
