@beanphoner Thayer David obviously did not die a year after the show went off the air. He was in "Rocky" which came out in 1976.

Beanphoner, Thayer David died on July 17th, 1978; Dark Shadows ended on April 2nd, 1971. I know it's 3 years after your posting, but it was seven years after the series ended, not one.

This was very amusing. I loved how you brought your sherry with you everywhere. My friends and I want to do something like this. My mom got a kick out of the video too. She really liked the part with Pansy Faye dancing.

Yes, that's the same info that Sam Hall wrote for TV Guide back in 1971. Some of the ideas I certainly don't like (like Roger dying). The best would be the return of Count Petofi. But I don't think all of these future plots were written in stone, rather how the show "could've" continued. Kathyrn Leigh Scott (Maggie Evans) had already quit the show during the summer of 1970.
Oh, Happy Dark Shadows Day! On this date 41 years ago, the greatest series ever produced made its debut!

Joe becomes sane, then marrys Maggie. Chris Jennings never cured his problem. He killed Sabrina as the wolf, wakes up and commits suicide. Barnabus gets really sick, Julia cures him of his sickness and his vampirism, but she caught it and became sick. She got better, they got married in Singapore.
@Bargoth60... sorry, I was confused...

oh thanks! haha, had no idea! Another problem with those plots would be the Chris Jenning's actor going completely nuts... Thayer David dying a year after the show went off the air. (RIP) Have you listened to the new audio stories that the old cast members got together and did? pretty lame stories, but at least they're new!
