I love using Google Sketchup 8 to make various random things. It's very fun.

the only things i find annoying about SU are the fact that curves and circumferences are made out of segments and not vectors. it would be nice if it was possible to choose between vector based or segment based modelling when you start a new model. also there is no subdivide faces tool. for the rest i find it a lot more flexible than the few other cad programs i have used.

I disagree WarPeace. I use SU products in combination with MEP 2011 all the time. Anyone who cannot see that SU is a viable and professional tool, either has their head up their butt, or isn't an educated professional themselves.

I use SU all the time, the new DWG export feature in layout is a big plus for me. thanks SU Google.
