Strange that the best performance of this song on the tube is with Johnny singing.
It's not Johnny that that carries it though. It's all about the King.
I love Gary's playing but he struggled playing Ed's part in this song during Ed's absence in the late seventies. Who wouldn't?

ALMOST no one plays it right, There is layer after layer
of overdubs of AWESOME guitar voicing in this song.
